MemoInk Privacy Policy

MemoInk is operated by Guangdong Zhihuixinping Technology Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"), whose registered address is Building 5, Room 101, No. 21 Dongke Road, Dongcheng Subdistrict, Dongguan, Guangdong, China. We take your personal information and privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you use MemoInk (the "App"), and how you can exercise your rights.

Please read this policy carefully before using the App. Privacy consent is not selected by default, and we do not call system interfaces that process personal information or initialize related services before you explicitly agree to this policy.

Important: On first installation, privacy consent is not selected by default. Before you explicitly agree, the App will not proactively obtain OAID. System interfaces or services involving OAID are called or initialized only after consent.

1. Information We Process

Account and profile: account, nickname, phone number, email, avatar, gender, and similar information for registration, login, password recovery, and profile display.
Content and materials: images, text, templates, and other materials that you select, capture, upload, edit, preview, or publish.
Device connection data: device name, device identifier, connection status, publishing status, and scan results for device discovery, binding, connection, and content delivery.
Runtime and logs: device model, operating system version, app version, network status, startup data, error logs, and operation time for security, troubleshooting, and experience improvement.
OAID (Android): only after you actively select and agree to this policy may we obtain OAID through the operating system or device services for device identification, security risk control, and troubleshooting. OAID is not used for personalized advertising.

2. Permissions

Camera: capture images and scan device QR codes or barcodes.
Photos: choose images, upload avatars and materials, or save previews.
Bluetooth: discover nearby devices, connect, read status, and send content.
Local storage: cache login status, privacy consent, templates, editing records, and settings.
Network: connect to servers, upload or download service data, and check network status.
Location-related permission: some Android devices require it for Bluetooth scanning. We do not use it for positioning, profiling, recommendations, or marketing.

3. How We Use Personal Information

Provide registration, login, account identification, profile display, and password recovery.
Provide template editing, material upload, content creation, preview, synchronization, and delivery.
Support device discovery, code scanning, binding, Bluetooth connection, status reading, and content delivery.
Support security protection, troubleshooting, service improvement, and necessary analytics.
Comply with legal obligations and respond to inquiries, complaints, and appeals.

4. Third-Party Services and Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. The App does not currently use third-party SDKs for advertising, personalized recommendations, or user profiling. The software components used by the App are described below.

SDK name: Mobile Smart Terminal Supplementary Device Identifier SDK; Developer: China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT); SDK Privacy Policy: https://www.msa-alliance.cn/col.jsp?id=122. It is used only after consent to obtain Android OAID for identification, risk control, troubleshooting, and necessary analytics, and is not used for personalized advertising.
DCloud App Engine: MemoInk is built with uni-app. After consent, the engine may process unique device identifiers (including IMEI, Android ID, DEVICE_ID, IDFA, SIM IMSI, and OAID), app startup data, and error logs for analytics, performance improvement, and user experience. Alibaba Fastjson: used for local JSON parsing. It does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to third parties.

If we engage a third party to process information for necessary functions such as file storage, SMS verification, technical support, network security, or cloud services, we apply the data-minimization principle and require the service provider to follow our instructions, this policy, and applicable confidentiality and security requirements.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share, transfer, or publicly disclose personal information to unrelated third parties unless you authorize it, it is necessary for a feature you choose, or it is required by laws and regulations.

5. Storage and Protection

Personal information collected and generated by us is generally stored within the People's Republic of China and retained only for the shortest period necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless laws and regulations require otherwise. We use safeguards such as authentication, access control, encrypted transmission, audit logs, and least-privilege management.

6. Your Rights

You may access, copy, correct, supplement, or delete personal information, request account deletion, withdraw consent, or disable system permissions. You can disable Camera, Photos, Bluetooth, and other permissions in your device settings, or clear the privacy-consent selection on the App's login or registration page. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing completed before withdrawal, but related features may become unavailable.

7. Minors

Minors should read this policy and use the app with guidance and consent from a guardian. We will apply stricter safeguards as required by applicable laws.

8. Updates

We may update this policy due to service, legal, or platform changes. Important changes will be notified in the app and consent will be requested again where required.
